Affaire de coeur

All these are my artworks so far. I draw them using mechanical pencil in this A4 sized black sketchbook I name ‘the daily concoctions’.

the very first page contains this drawing. it’s a rather abstract piece. but my definition for it, is a crazily intense storm inside your heart that when met with love, is calmed and turns into simple bliss and calm.

this piece, the gateway. is mainly a path to this gate which represents another obstacle you’ve yet to cross. what’s behind it, is unknown. but i’m sure, it’s worth every step.

this last piece, was originally intended to be more complicated. much more fairytale like. but after shading it all, and just coloring the tree that’s floating in the middle of the sky. i think i like the feel it gives. it’s a lone tree. you’re the only one you can see with color but everything else is just a monochrome.

i’ll update when i’ve drawn more. meanwhile, thanks for viewing. i guess it’s going to be a part of my portfolio. without feelings and emotions, i bet none of these are possible. even the people around me, they inspire me to draw art that contain a certain intensity i know i’ll never be able to think up if not for them.
